The Ranma Campaign:
Love and Tears, Panda and Kempo

An anime inspired roleplaying campaign, this produced three seasons and one OVA in its two year run from November of 1989 to the end of 1991 under the able gamemastering of Kallen Kitsune, first as a play by email game and later entirely on various muds. Much loved by its players, it unleashed many of them onto the unsuspecting world of Islandia and other muds.

Conceived as Ranma 1/2 mixed with a bit of Kimagure Orange Road, it turned out to be more of the latter than the former, to Kallen's chagrin; the players stoutly maintain that it wasn't their fault and that their characters just came out that way. Never the less, hijinks and surprises were always in plentiful supplies. While we used Champions/Hero System rules (Kallen felt that Teenagers From Outer Space was too over the top), we were all careful never to let them get in the way.

Unfortunately no brave soul has stepped forward to collate various logs into a coherent whole, so you'll have to take our word for all of this.
